Managing the holiday schedule
Manage school holidays, closures and exceptional days to make scheduling sessions easier.
Last updated About 4 hours ago
Use the holiday schedule to enter school holidays, closure periods and other exceptional days. It marks these periods automatically, keeping your organisation's planning clear and making sessions easier to manage without confusing administrators.
Where can you find the holiday schedule?
In Ledenbeheer, go to Settings > Holiday schedule. Here you will find an overview of the holiday periods that are still relevant to your planning.
The holiday schedule is used only to manage and automatically mark holiday periods and exceptional days. It is separate from the regular calendar view, where you see activities, classes and sessions.
Adding a holiday period
Belgian public holidays and school holidays have already been added. You can disable them if you hold classes during a holiday or on a public holiday.
Go to Settings > Holiday schedule.
Choose the option to add a new holiday period.
Give the period a clear name, such as Christmas holiday or Annual closure.
Enter the start and end dates.
Save your changes.
The new holiday period appears in the overview and is marked automatically. This makes it easier to see which holidays and closures to take into account when managing your sessions.
Editing or deleting an existing period
To change the name or dates of a holiday period, open that period, update the details and save your changes.
You can delete a period you no longer need from the same overview. Before deleting it, check that you have selected the correct period.
What happens to past dates?
Holiday periods whose end date has passed automatically disappear from the list. This is normal and does not mean the data has been lost because of an error.
This automatic clean-up keeps the overview focused on upcoming and current periods that still matter for your planning.
Useful planning tips
Use recognisable names so other administrators can immediately tell which period you mean.
Check the start and end dates carefully before saving the period.
Add closure days and other exceptional periods in good time.
Remember that past periods will no longer appear in the list.
Use the regular calendar view to see activities, classes and sessions. The holiday schedule is for managing and automatically marking holiday periods.
