Presale waiting room
Manage visitor access when registration opens.

What is a presale waiting room?
When registration opens for a new season, large groups of visitors first enter a waiting room instead of all trying to access the page at once. Once registration officially starts, visitors are admitted to the registration page in stages.

How does it work?
This works much like ticket sales for major events such as Tomorrowland, where you can see how many people are ahead of you and roughly how long you may have to wait:
Automatic waiting room: Visitors enter a queue two hours before registration opens.
Staged access: Visitors gain access to the registration page one at a time.
Live updates: Members can see how many people are ahead of them and an estimated wait time.
Benefits of the presale waiting room
Better user experience
Members can wait for their turn without a stalled site or frustration caused by an overloaded server. This makes registration more orderly and fair.
Fair access
Putting everyone in a queue gives members an equal chance to register, regardless of internet speed or technical issues.
Server capacity
Our servers no longer have to handle a sudden surge of registrations, reducing the chance of technical problems.
No extra setup needed
You do not need to configure anything extra. The presale waiting room activates automatically during large registration launches, letting you focus on running your club.
The waiting room is created automatically only if you have set a registration period in Ledenbeheer (Prices tab) and published your events at least one week in advance. Publishing an event only an hour before registration or ticket sales begin does not give the system enough time to prepare.
