How do you close registrations?

There are several ways to do this: let the registration period expire, set the activity to Private, or disable the price category.

End the registration period

Set the registration period to end on a date in the past.

You can set this in advance so registrations close automatically. It also applies to one price category only, allowing other categories to stay open or start later.

Set the activity to Private

The activity will no longer appear on the registration page. People with its direct link can still register.

Disable the price category

This is the least desirable option. It also disables all registrations under that price category, so participants disappear from your attendance lists. Administrators cannot add new registrations for the activity this way either.
