Need to cancel a class?
Cancelling a class is inconvenient, but Ledenbeheer makes it easy to notify all enrolled members immediately by email and SMS.
Go to Course offerings > Cancel classes.
Select the class to cancel and confirm.
On the next screen, you can cancel the class and reschedule it immediately.
Notifications are sent by email by default. You can also choose SMS.
Everyone enrolled in that session is notified, including session pass users who reserved a place.
What happens to session pass reservations?
When you cancel a class through the Cancel classes menu, all enrolled members receive a notification, including session pass users.
Members who used a session for that class get it back automatically.
Only members enrolled in a session within their price period receive notifications. They receive none if the session falls outside that period.
Take care when moving classes to a date outside the price period for which members registered.
This prevents first-semester members from receiving notifications when, for example, a second-semester class is cancelled.
Cancel an entire activity?
Open the activity and set its status to Cancelled on the Settings tab.
