Reserve a costume
Open the Gallery, Inventory or Marketplace and select the costume you need. Check the photos, available sizes, quantity and reservation period before continuing.
Choose Reserve costume, select the performance, class or purpose, and enter the required dates, size and quantity. Submit the request once and wait for confirmation before tapping again.
View and manage your reservations
Open Costume reservations to see your own requests and, when your role allows it, requests that require action. The same overview shows pending, approved, rejected, cancelled and returned reservations.
Approve or reject a request
Owners, administrators and authorised costume managers can review pending requests. Check stock, overlapping periods and the requested sizes before approving. Add a short explanation when rejecting or changing a request.
Assign costumes to a class or performance
Open the relevant class or performance and link the approved costumes to participants or groups. Confirm the correct size and quantity for each assignment. DanceVault uses these reservations when calculating availability.
Cancel or return costumes
Cancel a reservation as soon as it is no longer needed so the stock becomes available again. After the costumes are physically returned, mark the reservation as returned and record missing or damaged pieces where applicable.
Avoid duplicate requests
After submitting, wait until DanceVault shows the confirmation. Do not tap the button repeatedly during a slow connection. If you are unsure, check the reservation overview before creating another request.
If a costume cannot be reserved
Check the available quantity and overlapping dates.
Confirm that the costume is enabled for reservations.
Check whether your role is allowed to create or approve requests.
Refresh the overview after a connection interruption.
Contact the costume manager when a request remains pending.
